I think if you want to use an established IP or horror 'entity' in a game, you have to make the hard decision of trying to establish it anew or create a fan game. I feel a fan game around ben drowned would be ideal here, as the experience is fairly short and you could have reused the entity in a "weeping angel" style towards the end (instead of an enderman-esque entity). I feel with a little more lore or swapping models, it would be a better experience. Thanks for the game! Linked at the time I played for convenience.
Whats up! Played the game in my video and I cannot lie, it got me with a couple jumpscares. Anything I said about the game in the video was purely for the video, and not how I actually feel. I enjoyed the atmosphere and it was the perfect short horror game
Really well done for your first game! It was definitely a nice closing game for my Half Hour Horror video. Not gonna lie one of the jumpscares actually got me. Wish there were a few more Legend of Zelda/Ben Drowned elements in the game, but that might be due to copyright issues. Your game starts at 19:54.

It’s all good, I just assumed it was more based around Ben Drowned going into the game. Even without the heavy references though, you still did a phenomenal for your first game. As with any first attempt there’s still some fixes and tweaks to be made but that’s all part of the learning process. You got some amazing potential though, keep up the good work.
I've had a chance to play tons of games, which were the first projects for the developers and I have to say this is one of the best so far.
The game truly captures the simplicity of horror - you have a task, you have to complete the task, you have to avoid "it", done. Perfect execution! The atmosphere was definitely spooky, the character was fun to play and the scares were actually solid. Surprised this is your first game, because you did an amazing job with it.
Best of luck with the future projects. Keep up the good work!
